Before Importing contacts:

Prepare data for import

• FunnelBud import tool only accepts CSV file format.

  • If your file is not a CSV file, we recommend uploading it to Google Drive and save as .CSV file. It also works particularly well with the Swedish characters. How to upload your file to Google Sheet or open in Excel and preserve Swedish characters.

  • If you're not concerned about Swedish characters, you can also open the file in various applications and save it as a .CSV file. How to open and save as CVS file.

  • Remember, if you have several sheets in your document, only the current sheet will be saved as a CSV file.

  • What if you've uploaded a CSV file and it is formatted as a single-column of values? Check out these instructions.

• Make sure that your CSV file has a column header called Email or Email Address. It doesn't need to have data but the column must exist.

• Make sure that the names are separated into first names and last names.

• Make sure that you add a new Is Unsubscribed column for Unsubcribed value. 0 if the contacts will not be unsubscribed, 1 if it will be.
