How to add Individual contacts

To add a contact, do the following:

    1. In FunnelBud's top toolbar, click New > Contact.

    2. Or go to Contact > Contact Manager and click the Add Contact button on the left.

    3. Enter the following required contact information:

      • First Name

      • Last Name

      • Email

    4. Optionally, enter the any or all of the following contact information:

      • Work Phone

      • Mobile Phone

      • Company Name

    5. Click Add Contact.

    6. In the contact's page, add information as necessary.

How to delete individual contacts

To delete individual leads, do the following:

    1. In FunnelBud's top toolbar, click Contacts > Contact Manager.

    2. Click the desired lead's name.

    3. Click the settings icon ⚙️ and choose Delete.

    4. In the pop-up menu that appears, type Delete.

    5. Optionally, click the This lead has requested to be removed from the system checkbox.

    6. Click Delete Lead.

How to delete multiple contacts

    1. Add all leads that you want to delete in a list.

    2. Open list and click the settings icon ⚙️.

    3. Choose Delete All Contacts and List.

    4. Enter DELETE in the popup window and click Clear Contacts.

How to unsubscribe individual contacts Manually

To manually unsubscribe a contact from receiving emails, do the following:

    1. In FunnelBud's top toolbar, click Contacts > Contact Manager.

    2. Find the contact the you'd like to unsubscribe.

    3. Click the settings icon ⚙️ on the rightmost side opposite the contact.

    4. Click Unsubscribe.

    5. Alternately, you can also click the desired contact.

    6. Click the 3-dot icon on the top right corner (besides Save button)️ and choose Unsubscribe from Emails.

    7. Click Don't Allow Emails button in the popup.


There are two ways to confirm you have successfully unsubscribed the lead:

    • Red text appears at the top of the contact record stating the following:

This person has requested to not be contacted.

    • On the Life of the Lead, the Unsubscribed from Email icon will appear on the lead's timeline. Clicking the icon will display the timestamp of when the contact was manually unsubscribed.

How to resubscribe individual contacts manually

    1. In FunnelBud's top toolbar, click Contacts > Contact Manager.

    2. Find the contact the you'd like to unsubscribe and click to open.

    3. Click the 3-dot icon on the top right corner (besides Save button)️ and choose Manually Resubscribe to Emails.

    4. Click Yes, Allow Emails button in the popup.


Likewise, there are two ways to confirm you have successfully resubscribed the lead:

    • Red text disappears at the top of the contact record

    • On the Life of the Lead, the Manually Resubscribe icon will appear on the lead's timeline. Clicking the icon will display the timestamp of when the contact was manually resubscribed.

How to bulk edit contacts

Bulk editing allows for multiple contacts to have their individual information edited together at once.

To use the bulk edit feature, do the following:

    1. In FunnelBud's top toolbar, click Contacts > Contact Manager.

    2. Create an Advanced Search, or use a saved search.

    3. Tick the top checkbox (in the header of the list view) to select all contacts in the search result.

    4. Click blue settings icon ⚙️ in the same header.

    5. Select one of the available options:

Option Type Description

Edit Contacts Change the value of selected lead fields.

Edit Contact Tag Set tags to multiple leads at once.

Assign Campaign Assign an existing campaign to multiple leads at once.

Assign Personas Assign an existing persona to multiple leads at once.

Account Add leads to new or pre-existing accounts.

Add to List Add multiple leads to a new or existing list.

Send an Email Schedule an email to send to multiple leads at once.

FAQ

What type of activities shows Last Activity column in the Contact Manager?

Last Activity column can actually include action by the contact and also any actions taken on the contact record.

This could be a field being updated or even a backend change that may have occurred on the record.

How to handle slow load times in the Contact Manager?

If you experience slow or delayed load times with the contact manager, here is how you can troubleshoot:

  • Check the view settings (does the problem appear in a particular custom view or the "default view" too?)

  • Check contacts loaded per page (does the problem persist if you reduce the contacts loaded per page?)
